Alright, let's do this one last time. My name is Izzan Athmar. I study Software Engineering at IDN Boarding School, and for the past two years, I've been turning ideas into code and growing as a software developer. I've built websites, shipped projects, solved a lot of bugs, and probably created a few new ones along the way. The rest? Well... you're looking at it.

Before the code, there was Iron Man who inspired a boy who curious about the world.

Growing up I was glued to every Marvel movie I could get my hands on — Iron Man and the Avengers especially. I was obsessed with the Jarvis that Tony Stark had, and I wanted to build one too when i was older. Somewhere in there I also caught the travel bug early, tagging along on a family trip through Europe and Asia long before IDN Backpacker made it a habit. Funny how it comes full circle.

By some other days, I'm 20+ countries deep into a backpack I never quite pack light enough.

Through the IDN Backpacker program, I'm glad that i was a Media Team member. I've made scripts and Instagram Reels documenting the trip, planned itineraries on the fly, and even written it all down in a memoir — Backpacker: 20 Countries Journey— because apparently a passport full of stamps wasn't proof enough. Some of the stops along the way:

Walking back through Volendam years later hit different — I'd already been there once as a kid on that family trip through Europe, this time just with a different crew and a lot more stamps in between.
